Title: Gamelatron Roh Ageng. Roh Ageng means great spirit in high Javanese

Description: Gamelatron Roh Ageng is a sonic kinetic sculpture made by Aaron Taylor Kuffner. It is comprised of Javanese royal court gamelan instruments tuned in Slendro. This set features 4 Hanging Gongs between 85 and 100cm, 5 Kempul (mid-sizd gongs), 5 Kenong (large kettel gongs), Ketuk, and Three 7-key metalaphones: Demung, Saron, and peking. Each are retrofitted with electromagnet mallet mechanism triggered by a physical computing system, mounted on powder coated steel mounting sculptures.
