All of the sounds that Gamelatrons make are acoustic. The music of the Gamelatron is presented without any amplification. Part of what makes the Gamelatron special is the audience’s physical encounter with the resonance of the gongs. The arrangement of the gongs in the space is always a large influence on how the music is perceived.

On this page, there are some recordings of different Gamelatrons, but it should be noted that no recording can replicate the experience as the art is intended to be – think of this as for references only. Each Gamelatron has its own individual suite of music. All compositions are written and performed by Aaron Taylor Kuffner.
