The Legend of the GamelaTron: Climate changes and viruses have naturally shaped humans through evolution. Considering the environmental crossroads of the present, in near future the human body will be modified and ultimately the brain is transported to a more resilient and capable host to ensure survival. After years of refinement, the new human shell was incorporated with global communication devices and personal transportation mechanisms. These cyborgs of human ancestry developed a communal network of shared intelligence through telepathy. This allowed for exponential technological progress expanding from the cracks of conventional physics of the human era, enabling deep space exploration, time travel, and inter-dimensional experiences. The predecessor of these cyborgs with human ancestry became interchangeable adaptive parts, like tentacles in a web configuring themselves into energetic patterns to perform tasks. Existence of individually minded entities became less common, as the dominant "intelligent beings" shifted towards building networks of raw elemental forces. This journey also corresponded with a spiritual path toward ascension into a pure energy state, long taught in ancient religions as Nirvana, Enlightenment, or a state of reaching heaven. Evolution continues and eventually all individuals are broken down into charged energy partials seamlessly conspiring with each other as one all encompassing organism. As the legend of the Gamelatron goes, during different stages of evolution from human to cyborg, to an interconnected energy being, there were periods of expedition back to earth for archeological study of the human period. It was believed that there was ancient wisdom betrothed to the humans to aid in the path of enlightenment. On one such expedition, long after the human descendants no longer had arms and legs as we think of them, there was a set of curious bronze objects discovered and identified as musical instruments. A robot was constructed that could imitate human striking of the instruments that allowed bronze to sing. The Gamelatron was born, and assigned with the task of ringing these gongs and keys as a signal to summon the gods as Sang Hyang Guru had done. The Gamelatron became a voice of nostalgia and connection to the human ancestors as it told sonic stories through resonating bronze about the mythic lives of humans and the universe that created them. The sounds of the Gamelatron became a learning tool and an experiential guide aiding further ascension in spiritual evolution. Short Version |
